Crushes are the best part of life. Well, sometimes. You look at a person, smile to yourself, get those butterflies in your stomach, hope and pray they notice you, grin like an idiot when they do and make your crush wonder if you are retard! Yes, we all have gone through this phase some or the other time. And most of us still do 😛
There is always one person in the group who always have huge crushes. And this huge crush doesn’t last long. Saw someone good looking, have a crush. Someone cute smiled at them, definitely a crush. What happens next? You get to hear about them constantly throughout the day. This crush will last only for sometime and next time you hear, they have a new crush. The list in never ending – That classroom crush, Facebook crush, the crush with a sense of humor, celebrity crush, office crush, childhood crush, so on and so forth.
Who it was in our group? Well, that was me. So you were saying?
I still remember I had a crush on a guy in my college because he was a Punjabi. How crazy is that? And then there was this person I had to see before every exam because whenever I saw him before entering exam hall, my papers would be easy. Then that guy with shoulder length hair, the endless celebrity crushes, the fictional characters from the novels I read, and yes, the guy I had a crush on because he had my favorite bike. The list always kept growing. My friends never fell short of things to tease me and my mom never stopped worrying about how my future will be! And my brother, every time he saw that goofy smile on my face, he used to turn all grown up and protective about me because he thought I had lost my mind!! All this happened even though I never dared to speak to my crushes. They were all silent, harmless crushes I had 😛 I must admit, though my mom worried when I spoke about crushes before, now she worries more because I don’t!
So, what was your story? Did you have a crush on someone or did you have a friend like me 😉 Let me know in the comment section.
