Kayra sat on the edge
of her bed, staring at the cobweb that had formed in the small corner of her room. There was a house fly trapped in the center of the web, which was trying

longer wishing to watch the gory scenes that would follow. In a way, the scene reminded
her of her life. She was like that house fly in more ways than one. She could

rest of her life. But did she want to go back? No!! She had come this far and

nor would she succumb to the past that kept haunting her, trying to pull her
inside the black void. She would stand strong and fight those prying hands that
tried to pull her. She wasn’t alone! No, she wasn’t. The thought felt better. A
faint smile crossed her lips. She hugged that little secret close to her heart
and derived strength from it. With renewed energy, Kayra picked up her things
and started towards her new journey, with one last glance at the place that was
her home all these years.
